Recently rented from Briargate Management. We were forced to break our lease due to job loss. We submitted a termination letter as well as documentation showing loss of employment as requested. They chose to penalize us our security deposit and are also keeping our pet deposit to cover what they are calling break lease fees. The house has already been rented again. We are out $1725 and the company has no heart or the ability to be sympathetic in an already traumatic situation. I will never rent from these people again and wouldn't recommend them. We invested in their home well over the amount they are keeping in ceiling fans, blinds, landscaping etc. It's all about the $$$.
