Do not take your bedding here! Let me start off by saying that I have never written a review, especially one that would create a negative rating on a business. However, I cannot go without giving warning to anyone that might want to have a mattress topper dry cleaned at this facility. When my husband dropped it off he was told that it would be done within 3 days by the young girl that worked behind the counter and he was given a quote for the cleaning. 3 days had passed and my husband received a call from the owner who stated that it would be another 3 days before the cleaning would be done and quoted a higher price as well. After discussing the original time estimate and fee, the owner refused to accommodate. Another 3 days went by and my husband contacted the facility and the owner stated that now the cleaning would not be completed for another day and gave no reason for the delay. My husband explained that we had family in town and needed the bedding as soon as possible. The next day my husband called and there was no answer. Finally, by Saturday (9 days later) my husband drove down to pick the bedding up himself. He was charged the higher fee that was quoted the second time and given no apology for the delay in cleaning. When we got home and opened the bedding all of the material inside was clumped up in huge sections across the fabric. The tag on the bedding (mattress topper) read to only spot clean. My husband called the owner immediately who told him that there was nothing he could do, the mattress toppers all come out that way. I then called the owner back myself and asked how he cleaned it....he stated "I put it in a washing machine." I explained to him that the directions on the tag stated to spot clean only and that I could have thrown it in a washing machine myself it that was the appropriate way to wash it. He said that he washed all of his mattress toppers by throwing them into a washing machine and said "Just come get your money back then." My husband is going to the facility now to get his money back. We live here in the small town of Boulder City and would rather see small businesses get the support from the community. But if this is how this small business treats its customers then I'm not sure if keeping our business local is worth it. I cannot speak to how other materials are dry cleaned here, but if you have a down comforter or mattress topper, beware before you take it here.
