1 Very bad experience by Linda - 10/19/2013

We've done business with Boring Bark for years because we are committed to buying locally. Today has changed our commitment to Boring Bark forevermore. While delivering a dump truck of gravel, the BB employee tried to beat a closing electric gate, and ended up DESTROYING our lovely electric wrought iron gate. The owner Steve claims no responsibility. They are truly only fair weather friends. Dishonest and disrespectful, and a disgrace to both small business people like ourselves, and the town of Boring. For shame

Boring Bark delivered us the most beautiful, black dirt for our new raised bed. The driver was great! He backed as close as possible to where we needed it and dumped it perfectly. The people in the office were very helpful, we even got educated about the process of roasting coffee...and we LOVE their coffee. They are a really nice bunch of people, almost all family, and they truly believe in what they do. A refreshing change from the big box stores.

1 Dirty Disappointment by T.M. Fettig - 08/18/2010

I would not recommend anyone do business with this company. Especially if you plan to pay in advance of delivery. I recently ordered and paid in advance for 7.0 cu.yds. of topsoil to be delivered the next day while i was at work. I took the afternoon off thinking to get a jump; on placing the dirt and when it was delivered what I received was 5.2 cu.yds. of topsoil. The delivery man keep making reference to the fact he hadn't loaded the truck and when i place a call to the office and spoke to the person I had paid; she immediately told me i was wrong, wanted to know how i knew it was short and how i needed to place it before I could know. i explained i spread it out to a area measuring 14' x 10' x 1' .... you do the math! they made no attempt to bring about resolution of the shortage...... now I happen to be a engineer who profession is construction inspections for large scale projects and am quite familar with not only how to measure the material but have 10 plus years of viewi

5 Excellent Service by plantguy - 11/29/2007

A great find, pleasant and helpful staff and great prices. I used their website before going it saved me time.
