overrated by By By Birdie - 06/13/2009Service was horrific, waitress acted like we weren't even there. Got our drinks after our burgers came out and the burgers tasted like rubber. Fries weren't cooked all the way. Me and my girlfriend then decided to try a sundae to salvage the situation. We ordered the brownie sundae only to find out that it was just a bunch of ice cream with a few brownie crumbs. We love brownies and asked the waitress about the brownie and she said she put it in there which there was only a trace of brownie. Then to top it off for a brownie(at 1/2 price special)2 cokes and 2 burger baskets it was over $40. This place is a rip off and gives the 50's a bad name.
Bopp right in for the best by LEFTY - 08/25/2008Boppin Bo's malt shop and grill is a real treat.
The stuff is fresh, the fries are skinny and they're addictive (all you can eat)
They have flavored cream soda's.
Their egg salad is out of this world, home made and fresh
Everything else we tried after several visits was the best.
The waitresses are very polite and are willing to please the customer,
the owner is very cordial with great conversation.
The pricing is the best for all you get.
We'll keep coming back
The music is OLDIES, and the posters and memorabilia is one of a kind for atmosphere.
Yummy Yum by ~Kat~ - 01/11/2008Absolutely delicious. 1950s type setting. Very cool decor. Fries are the best !
simple diner food/huge sundaes by bear93 - 10/04/2007fun names-nostalgic setting-fun gift area-lots of memories
Nostalgic setting by BRR - 09/20/2007It's weird, but this restaurant has a great nostalgic setting, even though it is in a strip mall. The burgers are excellent, the fries are those skinny shoestring ones and are completely addictive. The shakes are hand-made and they bring you the metal cup, so it's like three milkshakes for the price of one. Nothing really healthy here though, my wife ordered a turkey burger and it appeared the patty was deep-fried. Not the kind of place you would come looking for health food though. There's a great variety of ice cream desserts too. A fun place to take the family to eat.
