Description
Welcome to Bookman's Entertainment Exchange where we have been delivering to Tucson, Phoenix, Mesa and Flagstaff the largest inventory of used books and electronic entertainment games for over 30 years! An Arizona institution, Bookmans Entertainment Exchange has built our reputation on the concept that "used" is not a dirty word. With six stores in Tucson, Mesa, Phoenix, and Flagstaff, we rely on our customers for what we sell - books, music, movies, video games and systems, magazines, comics, electronics, tchotchkes, and musical instruments, and more. That's nearly 114,000 combined square feet of media recycled from the community. We provide the shelves but it's your stuff that goes on them.
Every day thousands of people come through our doors and Bookmans represents something different to each of them. For readers, gamers, film fans, and music junkies, the sheer size and variety of our selection ensures there's always something new to discover, and our casual, knowledgeable staff is as passionate about what we carry as you are. We offer free WiFi and love pets. Our popular in-store events range from art exhibits, musical performances, and anime festivals to reptile adoptions, yoga classes, and yo-yo workshops.
We support the arts, music, and literacy in schools and in our community. We honor the invaluable work of teachers with our Educators Program and encourage the love of reading in our youngest customers through our Kids Club. And every year we hold the Bookmans' Reading Challenge, during which Arizona elementary school students compete to read as many books as possible; the school with the highest number of books read per student wins $5,000 to use towards what they need.
Stepping into a Bookmans alters your view of what buying used is and should be, and our philosophy of DIY creativity, integrity, and community involvement has helped make us one of Arizona's most beloved local businesses. Bob knew exactly what he wanted when he opened the first Bookmans 30 years ago. He just wanted to build a cool book store where he and his friends could hang out. Find out why the AZ Daily Sun calls us "a cultural hot spot" and why the Tucson Weekly says Bookmans is "the Olympus of used book stores."

Best Used Book Store In Tucson by KD - 09/10/2007While there are several Bookman's locations, the one on Grant and Campbell is still the best. I always find what I am lookingh for at Bookmans. The staff is cool, and they are very knowledgable. I won my order for free one day last year. I wish I had bought more, as when I went to pay the girl said your order is free. I saved over $25.00 but if I knew iot was gonna be free I would have bought every CD, DVD, Book, Video Game, computer software product, and magazine I could think of. Maybe next time......
