Disrespectful and discriminatory

My mother set up a charge account for me with Boise City Taxi. This was done to ensure that I would always be on time to my medical appointments, because I wasn't always able to get a bus pass from Medicade. I have a legal disability. I was in a car accident, three months before I turned 16. I am now 21, and still am unable to drive, but I'm not going to let it limit me from being a normal human.I have made friends with a few of the drivers, and there is only one that I have chosen to remain in contact with. The majority of the drivers seem to be highly uneducated, and selfish. Last I checked, they were working in a customer service oriented field, and from what I have learned is that when providing service or any goods to the public, the customer is always right. I may be incorrect, but very few employees of the company are very customer-oriented and should try investing in a better future, with any form of degree or even a trade.I refuse to ride with another taxi from Boise City Taxi company. I do have a traumatic brain injury, but am capable of knowing what acceptable service is and when it is being done greatly improperly. The overall service of this company is disgraceful and needs to be reformed.I am giving 2 stars, as opposed to zero, because I did have lovely interactions with one of the women answering the calls.

Le D, I am the General Manager and I have copied and posted your review in our office. We try very hard to get drivers to provide good service. That this field is one of the most stressful isn't an excuse for poor service. When you have tried other companies I hope that you will give us another try. I rode with these guys twice this weekend. They did a fine job - very prompt and professional sevice. The rates were very affordable. These are guys I'll be using from here on out - unless they blow it.

I have taken Boise City Taxi several times thinking they were faster because they have a large fleet. Well I gave up several of my choices by doing so. The choice of a clean cab, most of the ones I've been in smell like stale smoke or beer from people getting sick in them. There was 1 Boise City Taxi that I was in that met with my satisfaction. I asked the driver if he could pick me up each day at the same time, his reply was "Sorry, we can't have personals, you would have to take your chances by calling into the office. Don't just read this but look at the cabs when you see them on the road. When was the last time they were washed?Thanks, but no thanks. Is my motto now!I found there are alot of companies out there that are friendly, reliable, clean, AND you can get the same driver day in and day out each day. Call a different one each day for a week or so until you find the one that fits your satisfaction.
