Bloomfield’s Green Casket Company is a family owned and operated custom cabinet shop located in the foothills of Mingus Mountain, in Prescott Valley, AZ. Todd Bloomfield is a master custom cabinetmaker of 31 years who was asked by his temple’s Rabbi to build caskets suitable for Orthodox Jewish burials.
Knowing of the world’s concerns for minimizing an individual’s carbon footprint, he felt that everyone, not just the Orthodox Jewish community, would benefit from an environmentally friendly casket as an end of life option.
He created simple 100% bio-degradable green caskets made of solid sugar pine with dove tail corners, and hemp rope handles. These eco-friendly caskets contain no metals, plastics, stains/oils, varnishes or toxic glue. They are guaranteed sturdy and attractive and come fully assembled (no kit form).
Caskets may be ordered in a variety of sizes. A memento box that can be personalized and buried with your loved one is also available.
