The worst food in Longmont hands down by Dave - 04/13/2009I have had lunch at the Brooklyn Deli two separate times. The 'cheese steak' sandwich I had today was by far the worst sandwich I have ever had. It was covered in green grease and tasted like the peppers and onions were cooked last week and kept together in the fridge. I feel like I should have taken the money I was going to spend, put it into a pile, and lit it on fire (since my first time was no better). Anyone that has ever been to New York will know that this 'Brooklyn Deli' is about as far away from authentic, as spaghetti and meatballs at a Mexican restaurant. Save your money and go to Frank the Butcher next door. They make a quality sandwich and at least then you will be able to eat your lunch.
