This place is simialr to every small salon experience you may have had in the past: slightly small, cheap decorations, old magazines, etc but the peolpe that work here are truly talented. I am Black and searched all over Chicago for an afforable cut. Where I lived in Philly I could walk into a salon and get my ends trimed from 10 dollars, a blow-dry and curl for 25, etc. But salons in Chicago quated me twice that price for the same service. I decided to a chance going further south where I hoped the texture of my hair would be the norm and the services priced accordingly, and that is just what I found. Veronica washed, cut, and flat ironed my hair for 40 dollars and my layers are flawless, my hair sliky, and my wallet uninjured.



If you don't mind the travel time and a bit of non-elequent ambiance then go!
