Great Food

Bistro Wasabi has the best Sushi around. The quality is top which is very important regarding sushi and is the freshest around. They create a lot of new dishes also. The only thing that makes me not give it 4 stars is that their drink prices are way too expensive. You can have a wonderful meal for a decent price but add a couple of drinks and you are paying way too much. I still recommend it, just don't have more than 1 drink.

Great Food and Great Service

This is my favorite place to eat at. Food Great, Drinks Great, Service great. Never had to Wait very long to get our food. In and out within a hour. Last time I was there we had a group of 12 during a holiday weekend. Did not wait long at all.

The WORST Service EVER!!!

People need to know that the pretentious and over priced sushi restaurant known as Bistro Wasabi has the rudest staff and the most horrible service I have ever had, EVER. We ordered 2 basic rolls and an appetizer (which were average) and it took close to an hour to get served - The place was 1/2 empty AND WE WERE SITTING AT THE SUSHI BAR! We had to ask the hostess to find our waitress in order to order more drinks. We were totally ignored and were not made to feel welcome. This place SUCKS and I would never recommend it. If you want AWESOME sushi and really great service at comparable prices go to Kaminari Sushi up Algonquin road. They will actually smile, make you feel welcome and they make really delicious and creative sushi.

Good sake martinis

My girlfriend and I are big sushi fans and when she moved to Woodstock to begin teaching we asked around for recommendations of a good sushi restaurant. All three couples we asked said "you have got to go to Bistro Wasabi for the best sushi in the area."

While the sushi pieces are the largest I have ever seen, the specialty rolls are magnificent... not to mention the cold sake martinis garnished with fresh cuts of cucumber.

Its an excellent choice for gourmet Japanese and cocktails before your evening event!
