I purchased my two cockatiels at Bird Jungle as little babies and with Bird Jungle's help they grew to be healthy, beautiful, fantastic birds. I bring them for the pedicure/wing clipping all the time and staff is very helpful, pleasant and competent! I never had birds before and learned everything I needed to know from them so I highly recommend them. We come all the way from Connecticut every 3 months also to buy supplies at a reasonable prices. They are awesome! My next bird I will only buy from them.

I took my Green Cheek Conure to get his nails trimmed at Bird Jungle on August 9, 2015. When they were finished I noticed one of his wings was drooping and he was acting very unlike himself. I asked the lady behind the counter that was handling him during the nail trim why his wing was drooping. She stretched out his wing and tried to convince me there was nothing wrong with him because he didn't show any signs of pain when she stretched his wing and that he was probably just stressed out from being handled and the nail file. After I got my bird home and he was still not acting like himself, I made an emergency call to an Avian Veterinarian. She told me his condition was not life threatening but his wing was probably broken. I took my bird to see the Avian Veterinarian the next morning and they confirmed with an x-ray that his wing was broken. We contacted Bird Jungle to tell them what happened and they said they were not responsible because they have a disclaimer on the wall. The disclaimer was supposedly on the wall next the price list. I saw the price list on the wall, which was up near the ceiling instead of at eye level, but I didn't see any disclaimer. I feel horrible that my bird had to go through such trauma at the hands of careless people that obviously don't know what they are doing. According to the Avian Vet, they see ALOT of birds with illness or injuries from Bird Jungle. I never would have taken my bird to Bird Jungle if I had known about this beforehand, so I hope by writing this review I am discouraging bird owners from every going to Bird Jungle, especially for a nail trim. Spend the extra money and take your bird to an Avian Vet who is trained to handle birds properly! AVOID BIRD JUNGLE!!
