Tuina Medical Massage (Yang)
A healing massage created in China over 2000 years ago. It is also commonly known as ‘Chinese Acupressure’ massage. Tuina is tailored to the client’s specific needs of treatment. It is a restorative, very deep tissue massage that often needs only 10 to 15 minutes for each area that needs to be treated. Most sessions will range from 30 to 45 minutes. The therapist will make sure to find and address all areas that need to be treated. Tuina was designed to heal various problems like frozen shoulder, headache, and pain in most joint areas such as neck, shoulder, low back, hip, and knee. This is Pingxiu’s area of expertise. She studied for three years in China. She practiced for ten years at a Chinese hospital learning how to perfect this kind of treatment.

Qi Gong Tuina Massage (Yin)
A gentler massage than normal Tuina. It is sometimes used as a complimentary massage. This way the client gets both the Yin and the Yang. A method used to provide balance to the body. This is also used by itself as a relaxing massage. There is a difference between this and other relaxing massage techniques. Qi Gong Tuina is lighter than its yang counterpart, but it is still deeper than many relaxation style massage techniques. Thus unlike its counterparts it does provide some minor medical applications. Pingxiu can mix this technique with the normal Tuina too provide you with the unltimate experience. Or you can try this by itself and get a very relaxing style of massage.

Stepping Massage
An incredible exotic style massage that really gets very therapeutic results. The therapist will use her feet to perform similar techniques used in Tuina. She doesn’t actually walk on your back with her weight, but holds herself with bars located on the ceiling. This allows her to control the pressure you will get with the session. It is amazing just how talented she is with her feet.

Sports Massage
designed for very active athletes. This helps them prepare their bodies for training, give their peak performance and recover after a big event. Don’t fool yourself into thinking it is only for athletes. Sports Massage can be very good for people with injuries, chronic pain or reduced range of motion. The same techniques designed to help star athletes can help any normal person with their issues. These techniques can help you relax, restore and invigorate yourself again.

Deep tissue massage is a type of massage aimed at the deeper tissue structures of the muscle and fascia, also called connective tissue. Deep tissue massage uses many of the same movements and techniques as Swedish massage, but the pressure will generally be more intense. It is also a more focused type of massage, as the therapist works to release chronic muscle tension or knots (also known as “adhesions.”) It shouldn’t hurt, but it’s likely to be a bit more uncomfortable than a classic Swedish massage. The therapist will ask each session how much pressure you desire.
