Six fractured ribs with collapsed lung led to my admission to the hospital. Emergency Dept. was caring, effective and timely. Inpatient care was compassionate and thorough. Meals were delicious, attractive and on time. As a healthcare executive, I am an informed consumer and a demanding patient. This hospital excelled in every respect!

This place is a joke. Took my wife to ER with lvl 9 back pain. They took blood pressure, pulse, then saw a nurse, NOT a doctor, who asked her to turn her neck each way and touched her shoulder and decided she "had a muscle there." 90 seconds with a nurse cost $850. If you do the math, that's $34,000 per hour for a nurse. What a bunch of CRIMINALS!!!!!! (PS Why can't I give ZERO stars)

Go some place else

This is the worst hospital on the coast to go to!! I had a car accident February 6th and I live next to the hospital...l so I went to it after my accident.. They never did one x ray or anything for me.. not even give me any muscle relaxers or something for pain.. It took me 2 weeks to get into a specialist to find out that my hip is out of place 9 millimeters and my spine has been twisted and turned.. Went tonight because I have been in a lot of pain and my pain medication and muscle relaxers do not work that my doctor has given me... I've been taking my medication straight for 24 hours and laying in the bed flat and still in pain.. the "it doctor" tell me to go to a free çlinic tomorrow and that me being in pain is NOT important to her .. All I have to say to the " it doctor" in the ER is ...you will never get paid for this visit or any other visit that pertains to my car accident ... you'll never done nothing for me... And I will make sure that this hospital gets no money from my lawyer as well ... I did NOT go in this hospital asking for them to write me a prescription... All I wanted was something to help take the edge off until I was able to contact my doctor in the morning... I have been in pain for the whole weekend and needed something so I could rest... DUCK THIS HOSPITAL AND ALL ITS ER STAFF!!!And when I talk to my lawyer tomorrow if I can sue the hospital for not properly taken care of me ... Believe Me Im On It!!!!!

Worst hospital ever

This hospital is the worst hospital you could ever go to. You will never get prompt service from either a nurse or a tech. When you press the buzzer, the idiots at the counter don't pick up until 4 minutes later and they don't send anyone into the room until an hour passes. We had to call for someone 100 times and that is ridiculous. A patient could have had a serious problem and could have even had a seizure or died and there would not be any nurse coming in on time. The beds are very uncomfortable because the mattress is so thin, you literally have no cusion whatsoever. The cups that they supply for you are nothing but cheap styrofoam water pitchers. The same pitchers that were here from the last time I was here which was 17 years ago. That's ridiculous. They also don't know what it means when you tell them a million times that you are a diabetic and you cannot have sugars because they sent me nothing but sodas and sweet teas! Best advice, go to ocean springs hospital for better service. Or at least know what you need or don't need because apparently the people here don't know anything. Good luck!

worst hospital ever

I went to the ER with a small boil, after 4 visits within a week, it had turned into Mersa.. they did surgery and admitted me. After surgery, I was dropped off in my room and left for 5 hours to fend for myself. I called twice for help to the bathroom, Noone ever showed. My father and brother came to visit, and helped me. My bed was not locked, the rails were up. I was left in a dirty gown from surgery for 2 days. My bed sheets were changed once in my 5 day stay. I had a leaky IV bag, nurse "fixed" it by taping a glove to the bottom of bag. Go elsewhere.. bad experience...

Wow where to start...this hosp...

Wow where to start...this hospital is old and showing its age. Nurses and techs are overworked understaffed. Dietary is a joke they said they were bringing a grilled chicken salad and got some hideous looking turkey lunchmeat cut in strips over a couple pieces lettuce. Additionally, breakfast was non-existant one morning. Doesn't matter what u order, they bring what they want. Seems order are sometimes done sometimes not. Trash sat in the room so long we got ants. Overall if you want to get well, do not go here!

Biloxi Regional Medical Center...

Biloxi Regional Medical Center is OUTSTANDING! The family atmosphere of care is one of the greatest experiences you will ever have while staying in a hospital. I have been in several hosptials over the years for my care including the big one's in new orleans. The folks at Biloxi Regional are the first group of prfessionals who really carer for me and seemed to have their hearts in what they do. The doctors are knowlegealbe and friendly and the nurses treated me like their dad. I wish everyone could give this type of care...we would not need healthcare reform!
