I'm sorry to see that this business no longer serves Williamsport. While they were in operation, I never voiced a complaint, they were always prompt and courteous. I hope the owner is enjoying his retirement.

I called a day ahead for a 7:45 am pickup to get to an appointment at 8:30 - it's a 10 minute drive, so I figure I had time.

Nope. I call three times as it gets later, eventually getting picked up at 8:15, half an hour late for a pickup I called for the day before. They don't take credit card in the cab. Fine. I call the office to see if they can process it over the phone.

$50 minimum. The driver was friendly and courteous, but I barely made it to my appointment.

When cab companies complain about Uber or Lyft, this is why it's hard to be sympathetic. An unreliable business practice that can't take the most popular method of payment in America and that's half an hour late with 24 hours notice.

If there was an Uber or Lyft around I could've paid online and gotten there with time to spare.

This business is stuck in the stone age.

Not that I used this cab company, but I was driving home with my 6 month old daughter when i cut off by one of the cab drivers. No turn signal, and at night so needless to say, this alone almost caused an accident. THEN the cab driver stops in the middle of a main road. No four ways, no turn signal, no cars ahead of the driver, there were no cars coming to prevent the cab driver from turning. The driver then gets on his/her cell phone! About 20 minutes later, I then call the company to speak with a manager only to get attitude! Absolutely ridiculous! Then the manager goes on to tell me the driver had just hit someone’s dog!! What makes this company think they’re in the right for this?!! The manager also hung up on me!! I definitely hope some people read this review and release how terrible this company is, I definitely wouldn’t want to be in a car with such a terrible driver. The cab driver as well as the company is lucky that the driver did not cause an accident.

I didn't even get a ride from them. After my phone conversation, I decided I'd rather walk. I'm glad they did me the favor of insulting me and generally pissing me off BEFORE I gave them my money. I doubt you guys read this, but the threat of being the only game in town is actually quite inaccurate. Uber to the rescue.

I thought i aas the only one that had a bad experience. Guy on the phone was ok but the driver made me wait while he went into the bar to take a piss. Well thats what he said anyway.

Someone picked me up from work and dropped me off at home. They got stuck in my yard when I have a huge driveway. He left huge tut marks in the yard and tire tracks. I called them and they screamed at me and said they were never here. Very unprofessional and I will be filing a lawsuit for the damages

Called them to ask how much it would cost to get a ride to bbt ball field. Was asked where , I said where the Crosscutters I don't know where that is ,is what he said. How can u have a business in williamsport and not know where that is. He was also very rude and i,hung up

I was recently cut off by car #14 on Market St. in Williamsport. I called dispatch to complain, i did not swear or raise my voice, and was hung up on. I called back and was hung up on. I called a third time and and was told "i don't have time for this". Now as it happens, I know where Billtown cabs home base is located. I decided to pop by for a visit. The "wonderful" lady at the dispatch counter who had hung up on me 3 times then had to listen to me face to face. She explained that she had "yelled at the driver" but seemed not to realize or comprehend that that wasn't the issue anymore. I wouldn't use this company EVER and from the many other 1 star reviews i don't think i'm alone in my opinion of Billtown Cab Co. If at all possible, use any other transportation service. I personally would ride a lame swayback mule before i would ever deal with this business.

To be honest the cab drivers have always been prompt and courteous, but every single dispatcher you talk to acts like you are the friend that never stops asking for free rides. This is nothing new, I've tried to use their service for years. I guess customer service is an easy thing to cast aside when you are the only cab company in town. Please uber, please, bring this monopoly to ruin. BTW they don't deserve the star I gave them, it's just the minimum to leave a review.

I took a Billtown taxi once last year, and I'm pretty sure the driver was intoxicated, but I thought maybe it was a one time incident. However, I used them again this past weekend, and I have decided they are indeed a horrible, unorganized business with rude customer service and obviously very low standards. I was hung up on by a gum smacking women. I simply asked what corner to stand on because they will not call when they arrive...so she hung up on me. When I called back she sighed and said with attitude, I TOLD YOU WE DON'T CALL, YOU HAVE TO STAND ON THE CORNER. I said that's fine, I just wanted to know which corner because the restaurant I am in is in the middle of the block. She hung up again. So anyway, I was on the incorrect corner, so when I saw the taxi I had to run him down. And then when we got to our destination, I had to move my car which was blocking another car, and he was just sitting in his taxi, idling for whatever reason for a few minutes, so I asked him to move up (I didn't even tell him he had to leave the driveway...just asked him to move up so I could get by) and he tossed his hands in the air and and said he was busy??? Anyway, drunk cab drivers, rude service...you'd probably be safer walking home in the middle of the road...

I'm from NYC and people think it's bad there yeah right place is run by idiots who can't even give you an eta with out being extremely nasty or just straight up hang up on you and act like they didn't here the question. Thank god Lyco Taxi opened up recently so your not stuck with only one option now

Is there an option for zero stars? The taxi driver was extremely sexist. He said women should have jobs as long as they're in an apron. He also ran a red light and then said he does that a lot. He also wished we lived in mid evil times because the women were loose and "you can kill someone and get away with it." We're lucky to be alive after his allusion to murder fantasies and dangerous driving practices.

Gotta tell you- this was great from the call to the drop off- cab was there within 10 min and cabbie was friendly , polite and got us to our hotel in record time . Knew which streets to take to avoid lights and higher fare for customers ! It was great - we stayed at Genetti and I would use them next time I'm in Williamsport .

Cab driver outside blaring his horn called the company to ask that they not do that in a quiet neighborhood all he did was give me attitude. I understand all the issues Williamsport has had but get a phone number don't wake my family up.

Absolutely awful company. Though Billtown cab has friendly drivers, the people in charge of setting up cab pick up and drop off times are often incapable of doing things right. I purposely set up pick up times days ahead, and I asked for them to pick me up 15 minutes before the scheduled time because I know they will be late. And just about every single time they have been. We need a better cab company, asap. This is one is not one bit dependable!

Friendly drivers, mediocre everything else

This cab company used to be decent, when you needed a ride quick on any day (other than Friday aND Saturday nights) and I've always tipped at least 100%. Now, I can't even get a ride to work without being late. Just last week I called at 6 am to get to work, but the driver didn't show up until 10 minutes til I had to be there. Regretfully, I tipiped the driver well, mostly because he was friendly. The day before Thanksgiving I called and they actually just didn't bother to show up. Standing outside in 20 degree weather for a cab is not what anyone wants to do. Billtown cab sucks eggs.
