Oil changes don't take long at all and the staff is very nice and helpful. For every service I need, I take my car here.

I have been to this particular Big O service station in the past. Thier service was great, then they started to "rotate" people to other stores. The results are TERRIBLE. There is an older guy know that runs the front counter that is grumpy and acts like he's doing YOU a favore to be baskiing in the glory of his light! I use synthetic oil and I have thier two year unlimited front and rear alignment policy. Yesterday I went in for an oil change. He was with a customer but turned his head over his shoulder at me and asked if I had an appointment? I said no, and he said "Well----" very sarcastically with his eyebrows furrelled up. When he was through with that customer he said--I don't suppose you expect to get anything today without an appointment do you? I told the idiot that I am retired and that he could set an appointment for the next day. I told him that I wanted an oil change with pure synthetic oil. He interrupted me at this poit and stated--"Ya KNOW, that there will be an extra charge for synthetic-right?" I disagreed with him, stating that when I had bought the coupons a few months back that they were for pure synthetic and that I had paid for pure synthetic.. He then said,"Well, a lot of people buy the cheap stuff, then when they come in they try to get the pure synthetic." Man! I couldn't believe it! This guy just accused me of stealing! I told him that he could read it on his computer, or that I could go out to the car and bring back the full agreement contract if he'd like! He looked it up on the computer and begrudgingly acknowledged that I had in fact purchased full synthetic. What an idiot! He could have looked up the facts on his service computer FIRST, before accusing me of fraud! I set up a full synthetic oil change, plus upper and lower hoses to be replaced among other things for 11 AM today, however I am going to cancel my appointment at the last minute and will see if a different Big O tire service station a little further away will have time for my business

I will NEVER go back there again. If, this moran DOES read this review (which I hope that HE or HIS BOSS does read it) all I can say is that--If you are experiencing a low volumne of customers in comparison to other Big O tires service stations, then it's because of IDIOTS like this older guy that's driving customers away! When he asked me if I was going to need the tires rotated and aligned and I said yes, he asked me when my last oil change had been. I told him about 3 months ago--to which he said," Oh, that's too soon. You shouldn't have to rotate or align tires that soon." I said, "I don't care what you think, I rotate and align my tires every time that I change my oil--that's just the way I do it. What the hell does this guy care if I bring it in EVERY month? It's MY MONEY! Nope, I'll go somewhere--where their front desk person knows how to treat a customer with respect. I hope in the next few months that when I drive by , I see this place boarded up or if I do go back, that I find that he was fired!

NO ONE should be treated in this manner when there are so many other places competing for my hard earned dollars! The ONLY reason that I go to Big O tires is because I have their credit card and I can make payments. I sincerely hope that Big O's upper management, in fact, DOES reads these reviews!!!!!!! The BEST way to put your point across is simply to stop doing buisness with people like these--let the power of your $$$ speak for you by discontinuing the money flow!

I first went to Walmart to see if there lube department could tell me where the leaks are coming from under my car. They told me to go to several different places and one was Big-O-Tires. I had bought tires from them before. The sale person #12981886 said I could get a estimate for what needed to be done for $100. I said OK. It was taking way too long, they took off my tires, I asked them why and they said they wanted to check the brakes. Not too long later they wanted to fix the breaks. I told them 'I JUST WANTED AN ESTIMATE'. As it was getting late I told them to button it up and give me the written estimate and he said they DON'T give written estimates. I argued with him, he spoke to the white guy and then he was going to give me a written estimate. I told him if he didn't wasn't going to pay. I also told him I'M NOT COMING BACK. What an awful experience.
