Bad Service in Beaverton! by
Hire nicer staff Restaurant. Manager needs lessons in customer service as well. Guys in bowling alley were cool though.
Horrible Staff and Management by
I have been to 2 different Big Als and somehow end up with the worst service I've ever had, and never handles the bills right. We always make it as easy as possible and yet they still don't get it.Management which are made to build relationships with the customers and make sure nothing gets handled incorrectly treat all customers like their the enemy and are extremely rude.Went to the vancouver Big Als to watch the BCS championship and were moved to a private bowling lane to watch the football game cause there were too many people in the sports bar. We were specifically told there would be NO bowling, and then they decided to change their mind and let people bowl. Couldn't hear a damn thing. We decided to stand for the whole game in the sports bar to watch the game, but the servers kept bumping into us and saying we need to get over into the corner and stay out of their way.We told them we were going to watch the game in the sports bar, yet the servers kept on hounding us and
Worst customer service ever!!! by
disappointed :( -
When a customer walks up to ask a question as an employee you should stop your conversation about the girl across the way in the snack bar and help the customer without an attitude! Megan was apparently the manager but if I had an employee like that she would have been fired a long time ago. I observed her give snotty responses to the customers, she seemed annoyed when customers would ask her questions, and worst of all I overheard gossip about the customers and the other employees. The sad thing is that I was only standing at the counter for about 5 minutes and observed all of this. If this is the standard that Big Al's has for its employees no wonder the service is so horrible in restaurant as well. We waited for 45 minutes for our food which was delicious but long over due. I know this is a locally owned business and would like to support this company but for now I am telling everyone I know unless you want to be greeted by snotty employees an managers don't even think about Big Al'
They'll BOWL you over by
Little Al -
I'm sure I'm like all the rest of the wonderful, objective citizens reviewing Big Al's. If you had to PIN me down I'd say SPARE your time and SCORE big at Al's! When you ROLL in, you'll have a BALL. No one will be SPLIT on whether they had a good time. When you APPROACH Al's, everyone will know it's up their ALLEY. If you're up for a good time, Al's fits your FRAME of mind!
Mine will be short and sweet by

It's a great place for kids and grown-ups. It's a fun place to go with the family and a great place to have a night out. Great food and at a reasonable price. Lots of choices. If you don't want to bowl or play in the game room, they have billards and shuffleboard in the sports bar. A little spendy to play, but if its what you like, than its worth it. It can get pretty busy and the wait for bowling can take a while, but there is soooo much more to do while you wait. Great place for kids and the kid in all of us.
good place and lots of fun by
I enjoyed the fun service and the food was good.

On a rainy day when you dont' want to be cooped up at home, this is the place to be. Bowling, Billiards, Shuffleboard and Arcade. And if you decide that you want to just chill you will be very happy with their sports bar and grill. The burgers are quite good and you will find that this is a great place to unwind at end of week.
Clean and Friendly Bowling Alley... plus a whole lot more! by
You don't have to be a bowler to find something right up your Alley! Good food, fun space, and accommodating staff.
