I called about a 5 x 10 unit and let the landlord go ahead and charge my credit card for the unit before I got a chance to see the unit, which was a BIG mistake. The landlord emailed me a lease, but I did not sign it - I wanted to see the unit. When I took a look at the unit the next day, it smelled moldy, so I called the landlord and told them I changed my mind. I was told that even though I had not signed a contract, they were not required to provide me any refund. When I complained, they said they would send me a partial refund. That was in June and it is now early November. I have called numerous times and received many excuses, but still no refund.
