My son had recently been diagnosed w/ autism when he began receiving treatments from you. He didn't have joint attention skills and was non verbal aside from a few unintelligable words. He found it difficult to sit still and was given a yearly goal of sitting for 15 minutes throughout the day.



During the first session I was amazed to see him sit for an unexpected 20 minutes. He was peaceful, but not quiet!



As you saw, he began to talk w/in the first few minutes of the process.



When you repeated his words I was amazed to see my child sharing a moment w/ another person, recognizing the joint attention.



On the second session he chose not to sit still as long and you were respectful of this.



After that session my son did two more amazing things.



First, he drew a picture w/ crayons and then brought it over to show me!



Again the joint attention seemed to progress. And now I hear those wonderful words "Look at me mom" all the time.



Second, my child used mostly intelligable words and made his first conversation volley. It was only three back and forths but enough to make me cry as I recognized an advanced stage of the language process used by my 3 year old autistic son.



At school and in therapies my son's skills have begun to take off.



In fact he has not had any regressions!







I truely believe that your treatments helped unlock some skills that my child needed in order to do well w/ his other supports.
