Bensenville Park District, established in 1960 and based in Bensenville, Ill., has more than 12 parks covering more than 65-acres, including Bretman, DiOrio Field, Kremples, Proplar, Rose, Schuster, Sunrise, Veterans, Woodcrest and Woodside. Deer Grove Leisure Center was built in 1989 and has a state-of-the-art weight room, a gymnasium, an indoor track and racquetball courts. The gym equipments include a Cybex Smith machine, Cybex variable resistance machines, dumbbells, free-weights, a Lifecycle upright bike, Precor climbers, Precor ellipticals and treadmills. The park district also offers a water park with a more than 150-foot long water slide with a separate plunge pool, locker room facility, adult sun deck area and over 100 chaise loungers and sun chairs located throughout the Water Park. BPD s White Pines Golf Club is a 36-hole golf course, offering a banquet room for wedding reception, anniversary party, bridal shower and special occasions golf outing. It also has a pro shop for golf equipment and accessories and a clubhouse that provides snacks, breakfast, lunch and dinner.
