I was happy to discover a place in Bellingham that washes Oriental Rugs. I never knew exactly what to do about my hand knotted persian rug that I've had for about 5 years now. I always just sort of blotted it and vaccumed it when needed but our dog had an accident on it about a week ago and the odor wasn't going away. I heard an add for Steam Sweepers on the radio one morning though and they were advertising rug cleaning so I called up Art the owner. I told him what kind of rug I had and about the odor issue. When i brought it by he was honest about the fact that depending on how long the odor has been in the fibers, he may not be able to get it all out. But I decided to give it a go anyways. I'm glad I did, there is not longer any odor and my rug looks great. Thanks guys!

I have a very old, very fragile hand woven Karastan rug. It has needed some serious cleaning for a while now, but I haven't ever been able to fully trust a company to take proper care of it. I thought I might as well do a little research. I found that Steam Sweepers is the only local Oriental Rug Cleaning facility north of Seattle, and I really didn't want to ship my fragile rug off to another city. When I called Steam Sweepers, Art suprised me with his knowlege of different rug origins and specialty cleaning methods which gave me confidence in business. I brought my rug by, he gave me an estimate, and told me I would have the rug back by next week. When I got it back I didn't even recognize it. Art even gave me a before and after picture of my rug because it was so dramatic!

I have been a customer to Steam Sweepers for about four years now and they have always done a wonderful job. They tend to cost more than other Carpet Cleaning Companies, but the results are worth it. I get the results I want each time and the employees are always professional. I recently purchased a new home, and the carpets and flooring were absolutely filthy from the previous owners and their pets. I called Steam Sweepers and they cleaned all 3 bedrooms and the tile flooring in the bathroom. They now look so good they aren't even recognizable. I couldn't be happier with the way they turned out. We even had our family room oriental rug which I inherited from my grandmother cleaned. The final results for my oriental rug were excellent! The colors are much brighter and the rug is actually softer! Steam Sweepers even picked up my rug from my house and brought it back to me with no extra charge, and they were on time too.
