Thought I'd try this salon. The stylist was pleasant, but she didn't do a very good job. My hair doesn't even seem like it was cut. The ends are still dry, and my hair is heavy. Not sure that any texturizing was done. There wasn't anything to warrant the price of this hair cut. Now I will have to get my hair cut again very soon, but another place will receive my business.

If you are looking for an "Aveda" experience, I would not recommend this salon. I went in twice to get a classic haircut, describing EXACTLY what I wanted, and did not get it. One of the times I was also not given the stress relieving treatment that supposively comes with the haircut. I paid $40 dollars and felt like I could have gone to Cost Cutters for the same cut and experience. Maybe if you are not so concerned with the traditional Aveda concept, then you wouldn't notice. I have been going to Aveda salons my whole life and thus expected a better experience. They do have a friendly staff.

My experience from start to finish was incredible. It began with the very friendly and super helpful receptions who scheduled my appointment. When I walked in the salon, the signature Aveda aroma greeted me, along with beautful decor and paint colors. Anya did an incredible job on my hair. I explained what I wanted, and my prior hairstyles. She gave me the perfect hair cut. This is about the 3rd week, and it still looks great. The price was much better than what I have paid at other salons or private sylists.

I love this place. I've been going here since '06 and have never left unhappy. Anya usually does my hair, but I've seen Sarah and Anie, too, and they're great. I bought my mom a gift certificate for a massage there, once, and she absolutely LOVED it, and now she goes every month. The only drawback is that it can be hard to get in on the weekend if you don't make an appointment in advance. Overall, though, I'd definitely recommend this place.
