The Bear Valley Inn has been under new corporate ownership since September of 2008. The rooms have been beautifully renovated, and we take pride in our high level of service. We currently provide 24-hour telephone services, free high speed wireless internet, HBO/Cable TV, A guest laundry facility, In-Room Coffee, Electronic Security Locks, Refrigerators and microwave ovens, and a lovely outdoor patio for BBQ. The owners are crooks

I called and placed a reservation. I gave them my card info and they sent me a confirmation receipt and told me I am required to sign and fax back to them. Prior to me signing the receipt I got a call that changed my travel plans. I called them immediately to cancel, it was before they had even run the card and they told me I was unable to cancel, that despite their website clearly saying that you can cancel your reservation up until the day you arrive, they had changed their policy due to too many cancellations and that they were going to charge my card anyhow. It is not like I called to cancel at the last minute, the reservations was 5 months out, but now I got a $580.00 charge on my card, and despite all my pleading they refuse to remove the charge. Do not give these people any business!
