Going to Battery Wholesale was truly a good experience! The manager and the assistant manager worked together and really went the extra mile to take care of my son and I. Big thanks to Paul for good quality work! I highly recommend Battery Whole in Toledo,Ohio, Reynolds Road.

Nice guys but they didn't do their job

The first week of December I had an issue with my truck. On the way to work the battery indicator came on when I fired up my truck. The level was reading at half but as I pulled into work, the light had shut off and battery level was back to its normal position at around 13volts or so. I thought that it seemed like that was the alternator going bad but maybe it was a fluke as it had recharged the battery. When I got out of work at 5pm the same problem occurred and my lights were dim. Do I thought it has to be the alternator and decided that since I had had good luck with battery wholesale on Alexis road that I would drive to the Reynolds rd location and have them fix it since I work in Maumee. The battery level continued to drop as I drove it over. Got there at 5:30 and they had me pull it into the shop. The employee cleaned up my battery terminals, replaced a clamp and said the the alternator and battery both tested fine. He had me start it up and the battery level continued to drop. He said that it's probably a censor and that I could take it to an autozone to have the computer reset and that everything was fine. I thought it was kind of odd but trusted his word even though I've never had any issues prior. They didn't charge me anything but I gave them $10 anyways because the guy did do some work and replaced a clamp. So I went on my way and drove to my home 10 miles away. The battery level continued to drop and my lights dimmed more and then my radio cut out. I was only about a mile from my home and I thought that I better cut the headlights and just use my parking lights to ensure that I had enough juice to make it home. I made it home, shut it down as well as all of the lights, tried to fire it back up and got nothing. By this time it was about 6:45pm and to late to do anything about. So I had to call off of work the next day to get my truck into a shop. They tested everything and it was the alternator, as I had thought all along. Got it fixed and have had no issues since. The employees at the Battery Wholesale on Reynolds Rd were very nice , but they either were incompetent or lazy, which cost me a day's pay and more time. I wouldn't recommend this Battery Wholesale location to anyone and I will never go back there again. I've had no problems with the Alexis location so I would recommend that location to anyone as they always do their job and send me on my way content.
