Oh boy! I can’t begin to tell you how great Chris is. We hired Chris to replace and repair our 25 foot ceiling after a hail storm. He’s patient, addressed all of our questions and concerns, and his prices are reasonable. Noticing some apprehension, Chris explained what he was going to do and how he was going to do it. He gets it done when he says that he will. His work was not only finished when he said it would be, but with outstanding workmanship and professionalism. And he took every measure to make sure the work area stayed clean. If ever we need more work done you can bet we’ll be calling Chris at Patches Plus. We are completely and totally satisfied with his work and would recommend him to anyone.

We quickly found Chris Brehmer to be a meticulous and thorough craftsman who far exceeded our expectations. He made sure everything was done better than “just what was required.” Even the building inspectors on the job quickly acknowledged his building code knowledge and construction competency. Chris constructed a technically challenging tornado room, a handicapped accessible bathroom and two other rooms in our basement. Not only was his work impeccable but finding someone truly trustworthy eliminates the worry that often accompanies construction projects in the home. Chris even ensures the work area is cleaned-up every day. This is a contractor we absolutely recommend.

We purchased a house that was in serious need of repair and renovation. We hired Chris to help us - he has transformed our dismal dungeon of a basement into the perfect family center with office, workout and entertainment centers, he has transformed our kitchen into a gourmet's delight, he has transformed our master bathroom into a spa retreat, and he has transformed two of our bathrooms into updated showplace models! When we had significant water damage due to a storm, Chris replaced all of the damage, refinishing the entire area to its original state. We laughingly refer to our house as the house the 'Chris built'! He is the absolute best- a master professional, talented, honest and trustworthy - we are looking forward to our next projects which will include a travertine bathroom makeover! He should be on HGTV with his own show!

Chris truly will tackle any size job. We had a small patch job in our Kitchen. Chris did an excellent job and was very flexible with schedules. We will be hiring him again in the future.

We first heard of Complete Handyman through a neighbor. We have since hired Chris for two seperate projects. He has insulated and drywalled our garage and demoed our deck and replaced the surface with a composite product. Chris does what he says. He is honest, hard working and a genuine craftsman. Our finished product in both situations is beautiful. Things are completed on time and Chris stayed in direct communication with us throughout each project. His most outstanding characteristic is the PRIDE he takes in his work. The deck is truely a work of art and he was visibly proud of the finished product. I will absolutely use Complete Handyman in the future and will refer friends and neighbors to him.

It's nice to know when we need work done in our house again, we have someone we wouldn't even hesitate to call. Chris did a great job creating an entertainment wall in our basement - not only was the job done perfectly but having someone come in our home that we found to be very professional & trustworthy makes "home projects" a lot easier to deal with.

Chris did a 1,300 sq ft basement finish for me so although very talented at drywall patching, he is a skilled craftsman. Chris sets the bar high for all other contractors. Such a great combination of professional, talented, and just plain nice. His work is fantastic and "perfect" in almost every way. No detail is missed and he actually welcomes your ideas in the process. He works extremely clean and gives you printed schedules that he keeps to (I've never seen that before!) You can almost set your clock by when he arrives for work.His design ideas were fantastic and his actual work even better. He is extremely fair about changes that are made and doesn't nickel and dime you. Overall he is not only a great contractor, but is by all measures the type of person I would pick as a friend. I know these reviews probably sound too good to be true, but Chris has built out my basement at about 1,300 square feet. First he put a lot of effort into creating the plans - which were excellent and professional. He is way much more than a drywall repair person - his skill at building out basements and remodeling is at par with the best.What I like most though is how easy he is to work with. He gives you a schedule of when he will be at your home and sticks to it - never seen this before ever! He also demonstrates a lot of pride in his work and is open to ideas during the project without making you feel like you are ruining his day.Here are some of his traits - * Cleanest contractor I've ever seen - cleans up daily * Most concientous worker - everything is "perfect" - I mean straight walls and ceilings with lasers, no crooked boards, I could go on and on about how impressed I am with all areas of work - design, framing, etc.* Fair - he is extremely fair about changes ma

I had Patches Plus Drywall Repair fix a botched drywall & texture job from anonther contractor. Chris not only did a fantastic job skimming and re-texturing the garage; he was able to seamlessly bury the electric lines for the garage door opener into the ceiling. I would recommend his services to anyone looking for quality work at a fair price.

Chris has completed many different projects for us over the past few years with excellent quality and speed. Whether its drywall repair, painting, patch work, or creative design, Chris performed excellent work. He's easy to work with, clean, efficient and professional in every step of the process.

I had new lighting installed in my kitchen and the electricians left many holes and damage to the ceiling/wall drywall. Chris repaired the ceiling and wall and I am very satisfied with overall the quality of his work. I plan to use him for future projects in my home and I highly recommend Chris to anyone!

We had Chris finish our basement in May/08. We researched several basement companies and contractors before deciding to work with Chris. From the intial meeting to discuss ideas, through the quote process and to the final finished product, Chris was very professional, always available to look at design options, etc.The level of detail and the quality workmanship was as if Chris was building this basement out for his own house.When we have visitors and they see the finished product for the first time they are amazed with the attention to detail and the outstanding quality workmanship that went into it.We would recommend Chris to anyone looking for a quality job with a professional and personal approach.Did I mention that his prices were more than competitive even though his attention to detail far exceeded the other bids received!!

With changes in multi-media electronics and a 15+ year old house, we had Chris remove built-in wall drywall openings and small TV slot and rebuild the wall into a functional textured and recessed wall for a flat screen TV and art work. Additionally, he installed can lights, dimmer switches, and moved all of the electronic and cable connections to a feeder tube and thus hidden. He was able to match the wall texture of the room, plus did wall and ceiling crack repairs and matched texturing.He's very professional using a bid and contract, uses quality materials, comes prepared and meets his date to finish a job. His work in excellent, applying construction skills only a master can do, maintains exceptional work area cleanliness and is always focused on what the customer needs and that he is meeting their needs.I personally recommend Chris with a very strong endorsement!

I recently employed Patches Plus Drywall Repair to fix some drywall done by another "professional." The company did an excellent job and now it looks very professional and matches the rest of the house. I intend to have them back to do more work. Sandy H.
