42" Sony Bravia Sound Problem

I had a problem with a 5+ year old Sony that lost audio and called Barrett's TV Repair for quote. I could bring TV to their shop or they would come to our home. I opted to take the TV to their shop. I paid for a diagnosis and was called with an estimate 1 week later. I had them repair the problem. When I went to pickup the repaired TV they showed me in their showroom how it sounded. I was very pleased with everything they offered and how smooth the repair went. I have another Sony Bravia that needs repair and will use them again. Very pleased M. Grice Dundee,IL
Barrett's - performed to expectations

I was referred to Barrett's by a local TV repair company that did not specialize in my equipment.I called and explained the symptoms of the faulty TV to the Barrett's staff. They scheduled a service call for the next day, came out during the time window, and fixed the problem (it ended up being what was speculated in the prior phone call - a few bad components on the power board). The repairman was knowledgable and friendly.It was an relatively expensive repair, but in line with my expecations from discussing the matter with people who have had TVs repaired in the past.I have written a letter to the TV manufacturer regarding the quality of their parts, but cannot hold that against Barrett's and would probably use them again if required (although, with all due respect, I hope that is never).
