Welcome to the law office of Barbara J. Diment. I was born and raised in Iowa, and I have had the opportunity and experience in my own law practice for more than 12 years and with more than 18 years of legal experience to assist many people in a variety of legal cases and causes. While I have had broad experience in legal practice, including work as a law clerk to a federal trial judge, work in a large law firm in private practice, and work as a criminal prosecutor, I presently primarily represent individuals who are plaintiffs in civil personal injury cases or claimants in workers’ compensation matters.

Obtaining justice in the courts can be a difficult task. I am committed to helping clients navigate the judicial process and find a fair and reasonable resolution to their claims. There are a few good lawyers left............ by Robi - 08/06/2009
Alot of lawyers are in it for the money and you are another piece of paper -- not Ms. Diment -- she has worked without getting paid, for me so much and has fought for me when no one else believed in me. She has the soul of a therapist.

Although she couldn't help me directly, b/c my issue fell outside of her operation, Barb did lots of research and contacted many of her resources to lead me in the right direction and did this all on her own time as I just walked in looking for help with my matter. She even took my phone number and followed up with me a couple weeks later to see if I had enough help to resolve my problem. I was very impressed with the concern she showed for my problem and the assistance she offered up to help me get through it even though she could not represent me herself.
