very pleased by
I recently went to Thunderbird by ambulance in a near death emergency. They were wonderful and so respectful of my privacy as I was taken in, in just a sheet.
I ended up staying for a week and was as comfortable as could be for such a long stay.
As a bonus the food was actually very good, the first hospital food I've enjoyed.
Great hospital by
Mom of 2 -
Our son did not want to wait to be delivered at Good Sam downtown so the staff in the ER took great care of us when we arrived at their doorstep with moments to spare. The staff was wonderful and I am so thankful this hospital was close by or else our son may have been delivered in the car!!!
* Hospital Too Big For Own Good * by
This is a huge hospital and I feel its too big for its own good. Its a very busy hospital acourse as its right smack in a residential area located near 55th Ave West Thunderbird and is constantly undergoing construction to meet the growing demands of the area it serves.I find the staff at the least in the emergency room to be very overwhelmed and stressed out as I am sure its due to staffing shortages, foot traffic from people seeking care and construction. However, this does not give them the right to snap at people and treat them rudely. This is my experience from ER only. I had a pleasant experience last week for a different visit that did not require care.I don't know maybe when they are done with all their construction and the staff get their full working space maybe everyone will be happy. If I have a true emergency I will be forced to go there but if I have a choice I will go to John C. Lincoln when I just simply need medical care but not life threatening.
