Worst company I ever had to deal with. What a joke calling themselves professional. I bought a house in Southern Arizona in late December and made an appointment with them to get set up with gas. It took 45 minutes on the phone to simply make an appointment. Their earliest appointment was for January 11th. January 11th came and went but they were a no show. They failed to call me as I waited in the winter cold to reschedule or to explain why they were a no show. I called them again the next day to ask why they didn't show, and spent 55 minutes on the phone as they passed me from one customer service agent to another. No one had an explanation as to why our appointment was ignored after having paid for it back in December, but they assured me that the next appointment would be met. Unfortunately the earliest they could make it was January 25th! January 25th came and went and once again they were a no show and no called!! Because of their lack of customer service, we spent the entire month of January without heat or hot water.
I called them the next day for a third time and spent one hour and ten minutes on the phone attempting to talk to someone about this. Everyone said how sorry they were but had no answers for me other then making another appointment for mid February!!

All in all I was very happy I was treated this way as I called another company that day and actually got to talk directly with as customer service agent who made an appointment with me for the very next day. They showed up on time for our appointment and within 24 hours I was set up with a full tank of propane. I spent a total of 10 minutes on the phone with this company and was treated like a valued customer.

My advice, stay away from AmeriGas unless you don't mind being treated so poorly.
