We couldn't be happier, while heading home from a great 2 week long vacation our truck broke down. BG&S took excellent care of us. He was honest, straight forward, friendly and they came in under what he estimated. They had our truck for a day which was amazing, and had us back on the road by days end. I own my own business so I know what's it's like and when you find someone you can trust, everyone should know about it. Thank you BG&S!
We won't go anywhere else!

My family was heading to Kentucky from McCook NE for vacation. 2 hours into our trip, the transmission went completely out. Some locals got us hooked up with a tow service and repair shop. I wish I knew then what I know now. Late that night, we made it back home and made plans to start again early the next morning with a different vehicle, leaving ours back in Kansas. While on the road the next day, the quote came in for the repairs. Feeling like we had no choice, I told them to do what they needed to do and get started. However, a friend referred us to another shop in a nearby town. The difference was fairly significant. Based on that, I decided to call B G & S in North Platte. I figured they were too far away to actually provide service, but they could give me an idea of what I should expect for the needed repairs. I was blown away! When they say free-towing they mean it! James said they could drive the 3hrs one-way to get our car and gave me a quote that beat anything I'd heard. After they were done, they were even considerate enough to deliver the car to our door as they had another trip this way. These guys know what they are doing and they stand behind their word.
A real quality place

While traveling cross country last month my transmission started slipping on my 04 Durango about 20 miles outside North Platte. I found BG&S online and was on their doorstep first thing in the morning. Fearing the worst, 1500 miles from home I crossed my fingers. Thousands of dollars and few, if any options?!?! Less than 30 minutes later, the Manager, James Engbrecht, said the transmission was fine but I needed a new Transmission Position Sensor (TPS). The part was delivered and installed and he test drove it. The part was only a few bucks and he charged $10 labor. (Not a typo- yes $10.. This guy was amazing. On a 1 to 10 scale he was at least an 11!
Solution to my transmission problem - Winnebago Motorhome

We were on a trip that began in Lincoln intending to tour the Black Hills area. When we hit Thedford, NE our transmissionwould not shift from low gear. We had low and reverse but no second or drive gear. A gas station in Thedford recommended we take the bago to B,G, & S in North Platte. We drove the RV about 15 miles per hour up hill and as fast as we could coast downhill all the way from Thedford to NP arriving on a Saturday morning. These guys know there stuff!! They had us fixed and out of there within an hour. We continued on our trip 12 dsys and arrived safley at home. They did not take atvantage of us stranded travlers. The price was right and the tech's knew what to do and saved our RV vacation. Thanks to all at GB & S North Platte. Harvey & Jane
