While the work that B&B did was forth-right, a big problem has cropped up where this truck of ours has been down now for over 4 months. Due to the transmission has been determined to be the completely wrong transmission for the truck, this problem started at precision ford and went to B&B thus the reason for all the problems and the trans only working for a few months at a time, this trans is not a super-duty trans and now we feel like both the ford dealer in lillington precision ford and B&B should have noticed this little problem.....Wrong trans was put in by B&B after precision ford delivered it to them the 1st time they warranty the unit, and this has turned into a breakdown problem from hell......

We got hooked up with B&B Performance because the ford dealer in lillington NC could not and did not have the staff trained to work on a 1992 ford superduty truck which is one of many in our fleet that we run 24-7 for emergency road service dutys. We purchased the transmission from the dealer and when it failed Ron Burgess and his crew from B&B was called in to remedy the problem. Diagnose's did take awhile, however like any small biz, B&B suffers from the same murphys laws as we all do, employee issues, parts issues, only 24 hrs in a day, fatigue, etc. So 2 weeks later after every component mounted on the motor of this 7.3 idi non turbo diesel which controled this automatic transmission in this superduty shift points and i will tell you i spent many a night burning the mid night oil learning just how screwed up this entire system that at the time FORD figured was a better idea had built into this truck just to get the transmission to shift, when,why,how etc. B&B did get the transmission in and so far it runs like a scalded ape. We have had to over come issues that caused some more down time but none of this can be atributed to anything B&B did or failed to do. This system is the father of whats out there now in the modern car and truck relm. 20 years ago systems were put in place that complicated the run-a-bility and up keep on what were faced with today, and if you ever go by B&B you will find the parking-lot filled with the now grandchildren of my trucks on set. The modern diesel's of today, rows of them waiting on Dr Burgess and crew to diagnose and fix. Long gone are the ballance a nickle on the air cleaner and its running good, or taking a match stick cover to set your points. Todays cars and light trucks are rolling computers and their only going to get worse. The work Mr Burgess did for us was A-1 and i will recommend his services to my clients in the future, the only draw back i can see, hes going to have to expand both space wise and employee wise cuz what hes got now isnt going to be able to turn out whats comming in.Marc Gettleman Sr (Manager)AM-PM TOWING

A while back a friend was working for you and was told if you can't get a truck running he was not to return to work. Today he told me that the same truck showed up at his new job because none of you could get it fixed. Good luck with that one. You will most likely get it returned with a note saying shove it up your a$$........Not sorry any of your workers including the owner can't fix carp.

This place has screwed up the repairs more then what was wrong it when I brought it in. I advise everyone to spread the word. Owner is ignorant and a racist.......Sad people still are like that and treat their employees and customer's like nothing.......think before you decide to have a half a job on your prosperity, it'll cost you more then you think.

One star rating is too high! Charged double his qoute once the work was done. installed used and refurbished parts when he assured us that he would install new parts. His customer service is terrible and he does not stand behind his work. I had to go elsewhere to get the vehicle running right. I would not recommend B&B to anyone.
