Two Locations in Grand Forks, North Dakota . . . one in the beautiful, historic downtown and
the other in the Happy Harry's Plaza, near the University of North Dakota campus. The downtown Avant opened February 2003 and the University location just 2 years later, in August 2005. Both locations are Aveda Concept Salons and have been  "top 10" Aveda Salons in a 5 state region since opening. Avant is known for it's Signature Customer Service, Professional Aveda Educated Staff and "The Look.. The Feel...The Atmosphere"  found only at Avant Hair and Skin Care Studio. We strive to make every appointment, every service, an experience in quality and customer service. We sell only Aveda Products at both locations . . 97% plant and flower derived.

Avant is owned and operated by Anne and Richard Zimmer.  Our Salon Coordinator at the downtown location is Sommar Kemnitz and Toni Douglas is the Salon Coordinator at the Gateway Drive location.
