Sifu Dug Corpolongo is a senior student of Grandmaster Henry Look. He has been studying Buddhism, Tai Chi Chuan and Qigong since 1979 and teaching since 1990. In addition to being a professional Tai Chi instructor, he is certified as a Dharma teacher by the North American Shin Buddhist Association and is serving on the faculty of the New England Institute of Buddhist Studies as the Director of the Southwe stern Branch and a distance learning instructor. He retired in 2010 from the National Executive Board of the United States Amateur Athletic Union/Chinese Martial Arts Division after serving for more than 10 years as National Head Coach and National Chair; and he continues to serve on the AAU/CMA National Advisory Committee. He is also currently serving on the United States Kuoshu Federation as the Director of the Bagua Division. Additionally, he founded and is president of the International Kuoshu and Wushu Education Society. His professional background also includes positions on the faculty of the International Institute of Chinese Medicine where he served as the Director of the Tai Chi and Qigong program at the Albuquerque campus, Southwest Acupuncture College as an Associate Professor, and the New Mexico School of Natural Therapeutics.
