Traveled from San Diego with family during holidays and decided to google Rest in the area of Libertyville , Austin's Saloon came up and we decided to try it , our experience from the time we walked into the building was , friendly , clean and smelled delicious . Our Host was very welcoming and gave us a special table with a great , friendly server . The food was outstanding, food was hot appetizer delicious and when we got our main dinner we could not believe the portions.... so big we could not believe it . Steaks , Ribs fabulous probably some of the best I've had, would definitely recommend it to anyone in the area worth trying ! Got to San Diego and can't stop thinking about our experience at Austin's Saloon and Eatery in Libertyville

I have driven by this place many times and the parking lot is always full, then I checked yelp?? the rating wasn't the best but I decided to try it anyhow....I found my new fav restaurant in Libertyville!

I was very excited to come and dine and catch a band at this place, especially making the trip from Chicago. The service was awful. Once my party of 5 was seated and had our drink orders taken, it took the waitress 20 mins to take our food order. We almost decided on leaving. Our food order took too long given the fact only there was only 1 steak order. The food is mediocre and the steak that was asked to be cook medium-well was very undercooked. We asked the waitress to have it cooked a bit more and gave us attitude. After dinner, we decided to see the band playing at the Fuel Room. They required for coats to be checked while even though the area was freezing cold. There were only 2 bartenders behind the bar and waiting for drinks was a hassle. There were many drunk people as expected, but there was a particular person that was rude and purposely bumping and pushing people during the show. We complained but manager/owner didn't care about people's safety

The Fuel Room is a great place to see a band! I highly recomend it. The food is real good too.
