This business deserves ZERO stars! Today (Jan 5, 2013) I took my persian cat to there facility to be groomed. The appointment was scheduled (two days in advance) for this morning at 10:30. I arrived for my appointment with my cat in his carrying purse. The owner checked him in, took my cat (in the purse) and set him behind the counter and told me she would leave him there until the groomer arrived. Huh? That should have been my first warning sign... 5 hours later ( It's now 3:30 p.m) I call to check if the cat is groomed and ready to be picked up. I get an answering machine and leave a message. 30 minutes later I call again and this time the groomer answers the phone. I ask her if my cat is done and she tells me no that it would be a while. I said well let me ask you this.... Is he in an appropriate kennel or is he still in the purse I dropped him off in. She replies with, he is still in the purse and throws the phone to the owner. The owner continues to tell me.. I'm sorry.... we are just so busy today. It will be another hour... maybe two... And I said you mean to tell me that you left my cat in the purse I dropped him off in all this time? And she said yes.... I told the owner not to bother grooming him that I was on my way to pick him up. I let he know that I was in disbelief that she would leave my cat in a tiny purse meant for very short term use for 6 hours that he couldn't stand up in or turn around in and she didn't even care. In fact when I arrived to pick him up and I asked her why she didn't put him in an appropriate kennel with water being that it has already been 6 hours and her intentions were for another one maybe two hours, her her reply was this:

It is not a requirement for us to give an animal water while it is here! Really? So you took my cat into your hands, left him in a purse he couldn't stand up or turn around in for 6 hours without proper ventilation or water and you think it's ok? And had I not called to check on him she would have left him in that purse for another possible two hours! When arriving at home and taking my cat from the purse we discovered that he had defecated all over himself. Please be aware if you take you beloved pet to this facility. No animal should be treated this way. They never took my cat from his carrying purse. You don't schedule an animal to be groomed at 10:30 am and leave it sitting behind the counter in a tiny purse for 6 hours and tell the pet owner you are not required to give it an appropriate kennel or water while it's there!!!! Very angry and disappointed!
