Following a recent break-in at our home we contacted Benny to re-key our locks and install an additional deadbolt. He showed up for our appointment on time and was courteous, efficient and professional. Benny is one of those rare individuals these days that says what's he's going to do and does what he says! We highly recommend Benny and will definitely use him again!

I purchased a home made trailer that was locked and the owner didn't have the key. I called Benny and he came out and unlocked my trailer, removed the handles and made me a key. He was quick and courteous. I recommend his service!

Overall was Benny was helpful, with caveats:
1. His price kept changing. At first, he quoted me $100 to program a key fob. After he started programming it, he increased the price to $125, claiming that the increase was due to an increase in the cost of the code needed to complete the programming.

2. Then he actually broke the law by charging me extra for using a credit card. Yes - that is ILLEGAL. See CRS 5-2-212, Surcharges on credit transactions - prohibition.

3. He asserted that I would be unable to program additional fobs without his assistance. However, the instructions to do it are in the owners manual, and they worked just fine. I needed him to program 1 - then I programmed 2 more by myself.

I was locked out of my SUV, after shopping at Whole Foods, When I called I treated with respect and told he would not be long. In fact he arrived faster than I thought. The job was done professional and I was treated with the up most respect. I would call this company again, even if I had to wait for them. Thanks again for your help.

When my husband's truck was broken into we decided for safety concens to rekey all the locks. This company was fast and did a great job.We had always had trouble with the front door lock and they discovered it was actually broken so they installed a new lock. If any of our friends every need locks rekeyed or even a new lock I will definitely recommend them. They were very professional.

Ok, so my employee lost the keys to my truck, and yes, it is a classic truck, 73 ford, still runnin good!So he comes out tonight to replace it, I was unaware that there was 2 different locks (1 ignition, 1 door), so he keys the door thinking that they are the same, then he finds out differently, so he gets upset, and then tries to rekey the ignition, he couldnt do it (i guess from what he said that the lock was tooo worn out-and that there is something wrong with my key housing). So he offers to replace the ignition, I say good, then it doesnt work then also. So i said just leave it and i will just take the door lock. You wont believe this, he quotes me 85.00, then becuase of all this he ended up charging me 125.00!!!! for one key?Lets not forget that the whole entire time of him being here, he was upset at something, was rude in the manner of talking to me, and actually yelled at me. WOWWOWOW!!!!!Maybe a rough night? not sure. But interacting with customers, should be done at a professional level, that is how you obtain a customer repeat business.

So I locked my keys in my car just outside the DMV. I'm at the DMV so this whole situation is just making a bad day worse. I go inside and call around looking for a locksmith that will unlock my car for around $40 bucks. Asset Security Specialist are the guys for the job and we agree on a $40 price. The guys gets there 15 minutes later than I was told to expect but I'm in no hurry... I pay the guy, he unlocks my car, I reach in and push the unlock button on my keys just to make sure everything is good, then walk around to get in the driver side. The door is locked, and this guy is in his van about to drive off. When I wave him down and tell him it's still locked, he responds, "I unlocked it, I already unlocked it" and looks like he's about to drive off leaving me outside my locked car. He requests $20 to unlock again, and I pay... cuz what else am I going to do, and he leaves. My car doesn't magically lock itself, so this guy had to have locked it again. Shady, shady, shady.

Benny Medina the owner/operator came and changed my locks as I moved into a new residence, shortly after as I was looking up neighborhood sex offenders his name and address appeared. I am deeply concerned by this and would like to know what he was convicted of, seeing as he is changing locks, making keys and setting up security systems.

Benny gave us great service and saved us the cost of replacing our locks by cleaning and rebuilding them. He was able to take care of us in a timely manner and was very professional. We got all the locks re-keyed and multiple key copies made on site. Definitely recommend.

Wife had her purse stolen, so I called Benny @ Asset Security Specialist to have my house locks changed as quickly as possible. Benny was very polite on phone and responded immediately by coming to the house. Worked quickly, quietly and neatly and changed out 6 locks in less than 2 hours. Very reasonably priced and polite. Called our insurance carrier the next day and recommended they add Benny to their referral list. Highly recommend Asset Security Specialist.

We found that the service was not needed so we canceled the call and we were cursed at!
