Asphalt Maintenance Associates Inc. was founded by Wilford and Bruce Yokum, father and son, and Annie Yokum, Bruce's wife, back in 1984. Both Wilford and his son Bruce had an extensive background in Slurry Seal and pavement maintenance, working for companies in California in the late 1960's and into the early 1980's. Wilford did the marketing, Bruce did the work, and Lianne did the books as they ran the company from Bruce and Annie's home in Veneta, Oregon. In February of 1989, Bruce bought out Wilford's stock in the company, and Asphalt Maintenance became incorporated. In 1991, Asphalt Maintenance purchased property at 2080 Prairie Road in Eugene and built the facility we are currently operating in today.

In 24 years Asphalt Maintenance has gone from doing only driveways and parking lots, to handling major city contracts across Oregon and the state of Washington. We have been a family run and operated business since day one, making sure that quality and workmanship were never substituted for a quick job and unprofessional service.
