Dr Becky and her staff are the absolute best anyone could ask for. They are kind and compassionate and go the extra mile for their clients. I am so grateful to have become a client of theirs 11 years ago. As long as I have animals Aspentree will be the place I take them for all of their medical needs.

Aspen Tree also came highly recommended to me as a new resident of Durango. I have been here for two years and they see both of my cats. We have always been treated very well the staff and Dr. Becky. I would have to agree that the first posted reviewer was extremely irrational and needs to see someone about "the world revolves around me" complex. How rude to think your pet should be seen before all others that had appointments and possible emergencies. Please do not put any stock into that review. It is simply ridiculous.

This clinic came highly recommended. I asked no less than 10 people where they took their pet, since I am new to Durango. When I called Aspen Tree, they assured me they had experience with my cat's special health needs, which are chronic. He's a young kitty, but has older kitty issues. My appt. went very successfully. Dr. Becky is a terrific listener, and got down on the floor to meet eye-to-eye with my cat. Her treatment plan was exactly as my former out-of-state vet prescribed. That is not always the case with a new Vet, but very reassuring and confidence building when it happens. I highly recommend this clinic for your beloved pet.

Becky James and all of the staff at Aspen Tree are professional, kind and very concerned about the welfare of my animals. I recently had a dog who was misdiagnosed at another clinic. Becky spotted the true issue immediately. Everyone in the office was very considerate and understanding.I have since moved all of my business to Aspen Tree. I recommend Aspen Tree to everyone.(The first review on this page says more about the immaturity and ignorance of the reviewer than about Aspen Tree.)

I have not been to Aspen Tree Animal Caring Center, but I felt obligated to respond to the initial review. I have worked in many veterinary clinics, five to be exact, in a couple of different states. From the information you gave, I do not believe your dog was an emergency or needed to be seen urgently. You should understand that other clients had called in before you to come in at a scheduled time, so therefore they have priority over you and your pet. Also, you have to keep in mind that animals can come in at anytime for an emergency and that pet would take priority over any situation. Just think if it were your pet that had a major accident, you would want him/her seen immediately. Given the limited amount of information, I just want the initial reviewer to understand that a lot happens behind the scenes. Why wouldn't you call to see what the status was before going there? How do you know that your pet didn't have water or had gone outside? Sometimes pets will not drink or urinate/d

where is your proof and documentation of these alleged acts of inhumanity? Watch your mouth you slanderous piece of shit~! & while you're at it, next time you want your dog taken care of... CALL A DAY BEFORE & MAKE AN APPOINTMENT ASSHOLE!!!!!!!!!

I am appauld of the lack of humanity and compassion my dog experienced at Aspen Tree. My dog needed a simple shot and titter I was told that Becky had no appointments available which was the usual protocal when I called. I was told that if I dropped my dog off in the morning they would work her in. I dropped her off at 8:00am I had not heard from them by 1:00 so I went by at 1:30 to pick her up. To my shock and dismay they had not even looked at her nor did they take her out for a potty break or give her any water. They really didn't seem to care about my dog or my business. Becky never came out or called me. It must be nice to have so many clients that you don't have to care or be humane. Shame on you!
