The non-profit Arizona Superior Medical Program since 1992, has been dedicated to offering free medical alert systems and amplified phones to all Arizonians, in an effort to reduce "the high cost of medical emergency protection," that is many times offered from out of state companies, or mailers who not only charge more, but lack local service.

All income levels qualify for this program. However, for low income families, the program additionally offers free long term prescription…
