Description: Our patients receive the best care possible: treatment tailored to them delivered by a caring team of experts.
We offer many support services to help patients and their loved ones cope and thrive during treatment and after.
The primary responsibility of a National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center is to conduct research that will lead to the reduction of cancer morbidity and mortality.
A framework for this research consists of focusing upon the molecular and cellular mechanisms of oncogenesis. Molecular mechanisms emphasize genetic, epigenetic, and signaling mechanisms, while cellular mechanisms emphasize the biology of invasion and metastasis, as well as stromal-cellular interactions. With the primacy of this research mission in mind, the research programs and core services constitute a bedrock of the Arizona Cancer Center.

Arizona Cancer Center/Dr. Michele Ley
by Kate, 04/21/2010
This cancer center is an amazing place. The staff are all very kind, respectful and efficient. The center itself is very peaceful and calming. I drove 4 hours roundtrip to receive my cancer treatment here and it was definitely worth the drive. I had breast cancer and my surgeon, Dr. Ley, is amazing. She has an excellent bedside manner and immediately put me at ease. She truly listens and makes time for all of your concerns. And she was able to perform a skin-saving and nipple-saving mastectomy on me with excellent results. I would definitely recommend her and the center if you are facing a diagnosis of breast cancer. I feel truly blessed to have found her.
