Archaeological Investigations Northwest, Inc. (AINW), is a cultural resource firm established in Oregon in 1989 that provides a full range of archaeological and historical services. AINW's focus is in the Pacific Northwest and no project is too small or too large.

AINW provides a wide range of cultural resource investigations for private businesses, individuals, utilities, and public clients including federal, state, and local agencies. Projects include small- and large-scale archaeological surveys, predetermination's, site testing and evaluations, data recovery excavations, historic building and district evaluations, ethnographic studies, archaeological predictive models, and specialized lithic analysis and blood residue studies.

Major projects involve proposed developments, highway and road corridors, bridges, telecommunication facilities, pipelines, reservoirs, and hydroelectric re-licensing studies. Smaller projects include reconnaissance reviews and surveys for land developments and 'due diligence' of real estate transactions. AINW final products most often consist of cultural resource technical reports to address Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA) and cultural resource elements of EAs and EISs.
