We just moved to Yakima and I've had alot of problems finding a dentist that takes my insurance for my kids. I'm so glad we found Apple Valley Dental on Nob Hill. This is NOT the dentist that I grew up with. Besides all the fun and games, the staff and doctors really kept my boys at ease and they actually walked out of the dentist w/ a smile on their face. Not sure I love Yakima yet, but I love our dentist!
A great experience!

As a kid, I remember the dentist office being a scary place, so when my daughter needed a baby tooth pulled I was terrified that she was going to have an awful experience. It turned out being a great experience for her. The dental assistant was amazing!!! She did a great job connecting with my child and making her feel at ease. The Dentist was very knowledgeable and was able to remove the tooth within minutes. No tears were shed!!! A great dental experience from the beginning to the end.

They were awesome with my kids! My youngest has had some bad dental experiences in the past and they were so fun towards her and put her at ease. Staff was very knowledgable and nice. Couldn't be happier with the service.

I took my kids in and they thought is was really fun. I was impressed by the dentist, but the front desk girl wasn't the best to be honest. The rest of it is worth it though!

A friend of mine referred me to Apple Valley Dental. She had been bringing her kids there for 2 years. I felt so comfortable with how the staff treated my children and I appreciated that they took the time to explain things to me. I moved to the Tri-CIties a year ago and still continue to take my kids there. Honestly, I am not sure my kids would let me take them anywhere else...they love that place!

Staff very confused. They rush you in and out. I have talked to parents and it seems that they want to put everyone to sleep. I guess they don't like to deal with the real aspect of dentistry. Nervous and difficult kids and there parents. I wont go there.

I have one cracked tooth from an accident. I went in to have it repaired and, unbelievably, the dentist told me I needed to have all my fillings replaced. I had my silver amalgams replaced with white composites less than two years before although he didn't know that at the time. Of course, the treatment plan listed my cracked tooth as the last to be repaired. Also, I paid $180 for my daughter and it turned out that insurance covered it all. They were "apologetic" but finally returned my money. Lastly, we've waited over an hour in the waiting room at least twice. Between doctors, emergency rooms and dentists, this is the worst place I've ever been. With four kids, I know what I'm talking about. Go to Summitview Pediatric Dentistry for your kids. Honest dentist, little wait time and GREAT staff.
