We adopted our cat through ARF and have nothing but wonderful things to say about them. We met our kitten at PetCo on Wheaton Way, got to talk to the foster mom and the organization kept us current on what was happening with our kitten (shots, spay scheduled, etc.) And when we took our kitten home, not only was she very healthy, spayed and up-to-date on her vaccinations, she came with free food, cat litter, toys and a little bed. There is a waiting period for those wanting an animal from them but that's because they are thorough in finding the "right" person. They even called my vet to see if I had been taking care of my current pets. We would definitely adopt another pet from them in the future
