Dear Johnson family,at Animal Oasis we strive to provide only the best services available to our four legged clients and friends.We appreciate ALL feed-back, especially constructive criticism. It gives us the chance to improve where needed.I am thankful for the opportunity to explain our precautions to avoid ear infections in dogs through grooming.Water in the ear canal is one of the most common causes of ear infections in dogs. Other contributing factors are excessive hair growth, hanging ears with lots of hair like cocker spaniels, and allergies.To avoid water in the ear canal while we bathe, we use cotton and an alcohol based ear cleaner combined with extreme caution around the face. Should a few drops of water enter the ear, it will mix with the cleaner and evaporate instead of staying in and cause infection.We pluck all excessive ear hair so the air can circulate better.We always make sure we know about allergies, so we can use hypoallergenic products.It would help to know

I took my cute loving dog in to see karin and she did a horrible job!!! after i left there a week later i had to take her into the vet with ear infections in both ears and eye infections i will never use animal oasis again

So happy that Kristen and Karin have set up shop and hung a shingle!! They are so good with my animals and that is a huge thing with me! The cuts that my dogs have received at Animal Oasis are just perfect. Thanks so much!!!

She did such a wonderful job and all of us are so happy with the haircuts! Both of them have had so much energy that they are acting like puppies again...I think that grass in their feet was really bothering them, and they are so happy to have it all taken out that they can barely contain themselves! It was also a real pleasure meeting you! It is very obvious you love what you do...and it sure is nice to see someone with a passion for animals! We have two miniature Schnauzers that are part of the family so we are very picky about where we get them groomed. We have tried several places and had OK results.We took them to Animal Oasis and this place is fantastic. I was very pleased when they asked me what I wanted in stead of telling me what I was going to get.The service is fantastic and the prices are great. Karin and Kristen are so friendly and professional.We will be back!!
