Basically a puppy mill! by dissapointed - 09/03/2009
My mom and I went to look at the puppies they had for adoption here for my grandma and we were completely shocked! These were not rescued animals for adoption but puppies the hospital had bred and were selling! They were charging outrageous prices on these dogs. Apparently they are breeding all sorts of small breed dogs and saying they are "health checked" so they can charge ridiculous amounts of money ($600-$1000) and some were mixed breeds! And to add to it my mom came across an ad on KSL titled "Breeders Group" these people were selling at least 6 different breeds of puppies, mixed and purebred, and they were run out of Animal Medical Services. Melissa Zobell was the name on the account. I am furious that this business is adding to the increasing pet population and not supporting animal rescue. It just makes me sick.

They are average priced and the Dr.'s truly care about your animal. We've taken all of our pets here for years and they've always received top notch care. If you really want to make sure that your animal is taken care of, I wouldn't go anywhere else but here.

I could not disagree more with the prior review. I reccomend the clinic above all others. The staff, especially Dr. Mcguire are loving and caring with the animals and give them the best care imaginable! As far as the clinic being over priced, that is just not true, I would suggest you shop around and see for yourself, this clinic is very reasonably priced. As far as running a bunch of unnecessary tests, I am grateful that they are thorough and do not just give up after the first test, otherwise I would not have known about my litle dogs heart condition. All that said, this is an excellent clinic, with a caring staff and a Doctor that actually cares about your animals.

Please don't go here this vet office is so bad, they don't care about you or your animal. And they charge alot more than any other vet I have called. They tried to run tests that were not necessary, and they missed the huge ear infection that my dog had. Two days later when I went back to have my dog nurtured they finally found the infection and then tried to put him on 5 medications!!!! and the medications were all for the same thing. So he should of only had one!!!. And of course I got charged out the butt for all of the meds. So I would advise you not to go here so you can save money.
