Hmm... belittled, criticized, scoffed at... as if going to a pawn shop isn't degrading enough in itself... The employees there, especially the fat brunette and her middle aged sidekick have really big egos. I have been going here for a long time and putting up with it but after this last time.. no dice. It's just not cool when you take your things to pawn them and one employee asks the other if they "need one of these at home" as if I wasn't going to be able to get it out. I have never lost anything there and never would give them the satisfaction of taking my $2000 work of stuff for a mere $325.. If you want to keep any shred of dignity, don't deal with these people.
Sell your stolen items here!

If you are a criminal and need to get rid of some hot items, head on over to American Pawn! They'll buy what you've got no questions asked! These guys bought a gun that was stolen from me and when I tracked it down to them, they refused to work with me in any way even though I knew exactly who they bought it from and had the serial number of the gun. The gun was a gift to me from my father who is now four years deceased, but when I told them my story they couldn't care less. I'll never get that gun back now and have to live with the regret of losing it for the rest of my life just because of some shady business men who don't care who gets screwed over if it means they make a profit. If you are an upstanding citizen with a conscience, don't do business with these guys, or any pawnbroker in Lima, because you are only helping to support the local crime problem.
