I just bought my furniture from American in February 2013 and the cushions on both the love seat and couch are tearing and cracking. This shouldn't be happening. They had to replace my coffee table twice because of defective products. The covering underneath my sons box springs fell off. What is really going on.
Worst customer service EVER. Stay AWAY.....

I purchased custom ordered furniture and after 4 calls to customer service verifying the balance still owed when the pieces were said to be in due to cards sent by American to my mail sayin all of my pieces were at their store. I get there and was first told only one item was there and the colors looked off and the balance due ended up being twice the amount I had been told before by 4 different people and then I paid on my American card using my credit card which I received a receipt for only to find out it was never applied to my American card and received horrible customer service and no one knows anything and are poorly trained and very rude. Most of all they are no help. Never shopping there again.

Loaded a large box item into the back seat of my car. It didn't fit. The warehouse person then forced the door closed from about 10 inches open thus damaging the interior door panel and the window tint is scrached. All could have been avoided if they had the slightest concern for my property.
