Had a used tranny installed. They kept my car for weeks. I had to call twice to ask what's going on. When I got my car back the horn didn't work, my check engine light was on, and my front end wobbles. I brought my car back and they denied everything and said none of it had anything to do with the work they did. They also touched my air conditioning after I told them not to worry about it. They wouldn't even look at why my horn stopped working. Never go here again or any salvage place. This is the second salvage place that screwed me over.

Bought a transmission there, burnt fluid inside, said it would fit my car even though it was a different year. wasted my time and my mechanics time. Never again.

My radiator started leaking a few months ago and was told it was going to be a fortune to replace. I tried one of those reseal things and it just clogged it up. I called these guys on a whim and talked to Brian. He quoted me a new one installed for a whole lot cheaper than what I found it for. When they installed it, they also cleaned out the gunk from my system for free. I've had it in for a few months now and my car runs much cooler and no leaks! I don't have to keep a jug of water with me any more. They were really cool people and explained to me how everything worked and exactly what they were going to do to the car. I would tell everyone to deal with them! Good people!

I purchased a motor last month from AAS so clean i would have eaten off it, but more importantly the motor runs flawless and came with a great warranty.
I have been a customer for many years and will be for many more.
So do yourself a favor and just pass by thoose other yards save some time and go to who you can trust....

American Auto & Truck Salvage is very deceptive in their operation. I purchased a wheel bearing for my car and the assured me it was of superior quality. The part went defective after 3 1/2 weeks. They did replace it but the refused to put a 90 day warranty on this new part the only honored the original 90 day warranty. When i asked about it they would not even hear my side of the request, all he ( Chuck) would say is that the remaining 60 days is all he would honer. I know how important customer service is since I have been in the hospitality service for over 26 years. I found no customer service or willingness to resolve the issue,It was made very clear to me that the directive here is " we have your money have a nice day". The only reason I can think of not to offer a new warranty on the new part is because they know their parts are of poor quality. My advice to all is if you want to save your self a head acke, time and money find some place else to shop. Money is something we n
