Ambrosia is one of the top bakeries in Barrington, hands down. It is a true European patisserie, serving not just the most delicious fresh baked goods but also coffees and sandwiches. I enjoy meeting friends there for tea, where they have a wide variety of selections even for those who aren't tea fans. The cakes prepared on site are gorgeous to behold and always a welcome addition to any party. Sitting outside during the warm weather sipping on a mocha and enjoying a crispy, chewy chocolate croissant is the perfect way to spend a morning.
