Levels of Dance
AMA’s dance levels are broken down into 3 categories:

Basic I, II and III
Intermediate I, II and III
Advanced

If you are unsure of your level, please e-mail the studio at amadancers@yahoo.com. Age and years of dance taken are used as guidelines only when assigning your child the proper dance class–height and size make absolutely no difference as to what class they should take. Ability level determines the class we suggest your child take. A younger child who is advancing quickly can be with older students or a beginning older student can be with younger students while they catch up.

Adult Classes
Haven’t danced in a while? No need to worry. AMA will give you the individual attention you need to show you just how fun it is to dance again! If you are looking for some quality exercise and toning, AMA is for you! If you are an experienced adult dancer, AMA has a wide variety of adult classes to keep you challenged and wanting more!

Private Classes
Private Classes are always available. Please see Ann Marie Frank to schedule.

Tap for Teens
This class was added to our curriculum to accommodate the experienced dancer who has had little or no tap. We will start from the beginning and move rather quickly so you can catch up to your friends!

Music Lessons
AMA believes that private instruction is the best way for anyone to learn how to play an instrument. Our one-on-one instruction means that students are given instruction that that best suits how they, as an individual, learn. Private lessons also mean our students are able to learn the type of music they personally are most interested in. Also, with private lessons, a teacher can focus 100% of their attention on that one student to ensure that things such as hand positioning, posture or understanding of a particular concept are correct. We teach students from beginners to very advanced.

All of our music teachers must have a minimum of 4 years teaching experience. Music theory is taught in all lessons. All AMA music instructors are auditioned. Auditioning an instructor allows us to observe first-hand interaction between a student and instructor. It also enables us to see how much a student is learning from a particular teacher, allowing us to choose only the best in the field.

Private music lessons are $22 per 30-minute lesson. Music Tuition is paid monthly and due at the first lesson of the month. Since music lessons are private, there are no exceptions. There are no refunds or credits given for missed lessons. One make-up lesson is allowed per eight weeks but only if we are given at least 48 hours advanced notice. Make-ups are arranged directly with your instructor. Lessons are by appointment only. Please call us today at 847-727-7066 to schedule your lesson time!
