Costly same problem.
by DN , 07/21/2015
My cold table ran warm 60 degrees for very long time and its compressor was cycling on & off. Their technician recommended and replaced costly compressor and then later installed new cap-tube on the second trip. The problem and symptom was still the same "Warm 60 degrees & compressor cycled on & off".(the same symptom as a refrigeration system is running with no/inoperative condenser cooling fan). I investigated and found clogged & very dirty condenser cooling fins.I deeply cleaned it by condenser cleaner (foaming style) and then the symptom was gone.I recalled the unit with the old compressor current reading was 4.9 amp (a fraction higher than listed spec 4.8 amp). So, there was nothing wrong with the old compressor, dryer & cap-tube.Even if they installed new ones but still didn't make any change. The bills were over $2,000 (more than a new unit cost) for nothing.Pat (the owner) was angry at me when he listen a fraction of this fact.I understand and blame my bad luck.Hope you consumers will get some better luck than mine.

It is nice to know there are still good people out there that are not trying to rip you off. They showed up on time, explained everything (so I could understand it), and fixed my oven for half of what the other company quoted me! THANKS GUYS!
